Distance Small Business Consultant
Assistant to RCM Executive Director
Business consultants to assist overseas Christians in evaluating and establishing self-supporting and income-producing ventures aimed at funding schools and various ministries. Must be capable establishing a simple system of developing plans, budgets, projections and proposals for micro and small business ventures. Will work in conjunction with RCM Director and local entrepreneurs in Russia, Albania, Africa and South America. The key in this work will be to consult with the indigenous people in thinking through such ventures and putting them down on paper, i.e planning their work; and being constructively and encouragingly critical throughout. Will require a keen mind, patience and a keen interest in establishing self-perpetuating and principle small businesses in RCM’s overseas fields. Many in these mission fields have the desire and even the general abilities, but have no experience in putting such plans together. Some businesses would involve investment from the outside, others might well generate the finances locally. All of this would be part of the planning and evaluating process.
This would be a volunteer activity and does not necessarily require travel overseas, though could provide very useful.
Additional activities could involve the recruiting and training of additional such people to expand RCM’s capabilities to help those committed to the Reformed faith, help themselves and their ministries and break the dependency cycle.
