David and Kimarie Card have been working at RCM HQ since 1996. David's primary task at RCM has been assisting with the Reformed education ministry and promoting its advancement through our college, seminary and Bible course educational programs. He has coordinated course production, textbook attainment, and student administration for Reformation International College and Reformation International Theological Seminary (see the catalogs posted here on the RCM web site) and was appointed the Registrar for the schools. He also was responsible for the software related work on all desktop publishing (newsletters, brochures, books) and looked after RCM's bookstore and the Good News Bible Study Ministry. He puts out quarterly newsletters about his specific work.
As of April 1, 2008, David's twelve year career with RCM has come to a close due to his need for more income than RCM can pay him. In God's kind providence, an opening arose with the Florida Power and Light Company for a nuclear reactor operator for which David is qualified. He applied and got the job. You will see his final newsletter below.
David has strongly urged all of his supporters to transfer their financial assistance to Rev. Rudy Poettcker who will be assuming some of his responsibilities. Any funds left in the Card's RCM account will be placed in support of Rev. Poettcker's ministry.
Below is the last REAP newsletter from the Cards. They will continue to reside on the same property with the Donnans and assist as possible with the on-going work of RCM as volunteers.
